Drina River House, Bajina Basta, Serbia
Many people visit Tara National Park in Bajina Basta from Serbia but not all of them know the origins of the Drina River House. This interesting house was built perched on a stone, apparently built by a group of swimmers in the 1960s. They used to spend their summer vacation there and it was the perfect place for resting and relaxation.
The house was built because the level of the river kept rising and the materials had to be brought by boat. However, over time the house remained on the stone and became one of the most visited places in Serbia.
