If you want to change the plan along the way and the person you just hired can’t handle the situation, then it means you made a mistake – either because you changed your plan without being informed from the very beginning and without asking the opinion of your contractor before signing the documents, or because you chose the wrong person who gave you the impression that no task would be impossible for them.

That being said, it’s crucial to create a plan regarding your home renovating project, clarifying what you would like to do, what your budget is and that you need your money back if the contractor fails to finish their job. They will tell you what they can or can’t do, so you will know from the beginning what you need to do. Don’t forget to ask questions if something is not clear.
