According to health experts, there are many viruses, bacteria and germs that lurk on your household items, from staphylococcus to E.coli. In this sense, all you have to do is to use an effective alcohol based cleaner to get rid of these germs.

Staphylococcus (also known as staph) is a group of bacteria that can cause numerous diseases. Experts say that staph related diseases can vary from mild and requiring no treatment to severe and eventually fatal. Of course, anyone can develop such an infection, but people with diabetes, cancer, heart disease and lung disease, as well as newborns and breastfeeding women, are more likely to catch it.

Escherichia coli (also known as E. coli) is bacteria that live in the intestines of healthy people and animals. Lots of E. coli types are harmless or can cause mild diarrhea, but there are also some types of E. coli, such as E. coli O157:H7, that can actually cause severe stomach cramps, bloody diarrhea and vomiting, which can be fatal in some cases if it leads to dehydration.
