Tom Ford is an American fashion designer and filmmaker. He also worked for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, two luxury fashion houses. He launched his luxury brand in 2006. As a filmmaker, he wrote and directed the Academy Award-nominated films A Single Man (2009) and Nocturnal Animals (2016).
However, he is not only a talented fashion designer and film director, but also a good real estate investor. For instance, in 2016, he paid $38.75 million for his Hollywood house in Holmby Hills, which belonged to American socialite and philanthropist, Betsy Bloomingdale. In fact, he managed to negotiate the price from $55 million to $38.75. Nonetheless, according to the media, he allegedly listed his Cerro Pelon Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico for $75 million.
