Unfortunately, about 25 million Americans have asthma and some people don’t even know it, although they have symptoms. In general, many people with allergies believe that they have a cold when symptoms occur, as they experience coughing, fatigue, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and eyes – which are similar to those of the flu.

Allergic asthma (also known as extrinsic asthma) can be triggered by dust, pollen, food, mold, pet dander and other external things. So, your holiday decorations can also be another breeding ground for dust mites as well as mold. Hence, before using your holiday decorations, try to dust them off and when the holidays are over, safely pack them in sealed containers.
