A non-battery operated flashlight
This is a good choice when you live without power after a storm or a short circuit. Battery-powered flashlights are all well and good, but it can also be super helpful to have a non-battery powered, wind-up one on hand as well.
That way, if you forgot to buy spare batteries, you’ll always have an emergency light in a pinch — and light is definitely one of those things you don’t want to find yourself without.
