Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian is a serious furniture collector: she has a whopping 14 Jeanneret teak conference chairs in her home – each worth anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000. She sourced the chairs with celebrity designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who she also worked with on her very chic guest room.
Blake Lively
As if Blake Lively and her adorable family couldn’t get anymore perfect, the actress revealed on Instagram earlier this year that she designs her friends’ home – for free. We love the navy blue, modern organic vibes here in one of her upcoming projects.
Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon expanded her adorably preppy clothing line Draper James into a collaboration with Crate & Barrel this spring. It’s full of Southern-inspired staples, like blue check table runners and magnolia patterned plates.
Kanye West
In addition to designing pricey sneakers, Kanye West collaborated with Axel Vervoordt on all of his office furniture. Alex, a minimalist art dealer and Belgian interior designer, also created everything in Kanye and Kim’s Hidden Hills home, pictured here.
West tweeted plans this spring to open up an architecture school, called Yeezy home, filled with “architects and industrial designers who want to make the world better.”
Iris Apfel
You might know Iris Apfel as the most stylish ‘Geriatric Starlet,’ but before she was a documentary subject and fashion influencer, she was an interior designer. She also owned a textiles company with her late husband, and has jumped back into the furniture business with a collection with Cloth & Company in late 2017.
Tracee Ellis Ross
Of course, the clothing and decor collection Tracee Ellis Ross designed for JCPenney is bright, fun, and completely maximalist. The collection, which launched last fall, is almost sold out, though. Fingers crossed this won’t be her only foray into design.
Kris Jenner
The Kardashian-Jenner clan must get it from their mama. Kris Jenner’s home became famous during the taping of the family’s reality show, but she was also set to have a house-flipping show with Scott Disick. The show got canned, but her love for black-and-white tile lives on.
Mandy Moore
Actress, singer, and lover of mid-century design Mandy Moore was heavily involved with the redesign of her Pasadena home. She documented the experience on Instagram – from paint swatches to pantry shelves. You can steal a bit of her aesthetic by shopping the decor collection she released with Shutterfly.
Eva Longoria
Actor, producer, and restaurateur Eva Longoria launched her home decor line with JCPenney in 2015, and the Mediterranean-inspired bedding and window treatments are still making our hearts sing today.
Ellen DeGeneres
Ellen and Portia de Rossi share a love for design and are serial house flippers. Ellen published a book featuring several of their grand estates, called Home, in 2015, and told The New York Times that she grew up wanting to be an interior designer. Not that a TV star was a bad second option.
