Beware when entering your attic, as there are reportedly perils at every turn. According to British charity The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, falls are the most common accidents in the home.
Badly installed loft ladders, little or no secure loft boarding and poor lighting mean that sadly people fall from or through lofts and attics all too often.
