Dress the Fire
Cozy warm fires on blustery days are one of the pleasures of the season. Make your fireplace a focal point by stacking up a pile of logs and lining up a selection of carved wooden mushrooms and toad-stalls in front of the wood burner for a fun look (though do be careful not to place them too close, or they could scorch!).
