Make a plan—and stick to it
“Plan your work and work your plan. Visualize specific spaces in your home that you identify to be décor-worthy,” says Gittens.
“Where will your tree be placed? Have room for multiple trees throughout? Space plan and determine exactly where those trees will go. Have an amazing fireplace mantle you want to adorn with greenery, bulbs or lights? Determine which décor will shine best in that space.”
