A Portuguese needlepoint rug adds pattern and texture to the neutral living room of this Long Island home. Designer Frank de Biasi furnished the room with a vintage sofa by Maison Carlhian.
The arm chairs are vintage Howard and Sons and the slipper chairs are vintage Maison Jansen. Speciality items in the room include the custom cocktail table, early-19th-century Danish secretary and artwork by Ugo Rondinone.
