Egyptian pyramids, Giza, Egypt
The way that the Egyptian pyramids were constructed has been a mystery for several years, and archaeologists tried long and hard to explain this ancient mystery.
The pyramids of Giza in Egypt were built around 2500 BC as colossal tombs for the pharaohs. However, all that matters is the process and the way they were created when technology was not that advanced.
One of the most confusing problems for researchers is how these structures were almost perfectly aligned. Even though there are many assumptions about how they were done (either the Polar Star was used to align the pyramids or the shadow of the Sun) no one was able to say exactly how this was possible. The latest research suggests that the Egyptians could have used the autumnal equinox to achieve perfect alignment.
