Georgia Guidestones, Georgia, USA
Built in 1979 from granite, the group of stones known as “Georgia Guidestones”, they were commissioned by R. C. Christian, who used a fictitious name to keep his identity a secret. The stones contain ten blocks of text in eight modern languages: Arabic, English, Chinese, Hindi, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish and Swahili.
After years of searching and trying to find the “author” and discover the mystery of this monument, most researchers concluded that these stones describe the basic concepts needed to rebuild a devastated civilization. The American writer Brad Meltzer was the one who created a new hypothesis regarding the mystery of this monument, namely that it was built in 1979, during the Cold War, and perhaps the messages were intended for the survivors of a possible third world war.
