Peonies
Peonies are one of the most beautiful flowers and according to the American writer, Henry Mitchell, “the fattest and most scrumptious of all flowers, a rare fusion of fluff and majesty, the peony is now coming into bloom.”
These plants are perennials that will bloom every year from late spring through early summer and it seems that they thrive for at least 100 years. There are six types of peonies, namely anemone, single, Japanese, semi-double, double, and bomb. If planted properly, they require little care and attention, but they take time to develop.
“In addition to being hugely popular, peonies are very easy to grow. Plants are easy to obtain, thrive in nearly every climate, and can live for over 100 years if cared for properly,” said Benzakein.
