1. Secure the cooked food in the fridge
Some meals have a really strong smell and so when you open the fridge for even just a few seconds the smell can get everywhere in the house and so what can you do?
For starters you can open a recipient of baking soda and leave it open in the fridge and freezer so they can absorb the smells, then place every smelly food you have in containers with some safe lids.
2. Cleaning the trash bin
We know how smelly the trash bag can get, but some of those odors and smells remain in the trash bin, making our lives more complicated.
The solution is quite simple: put baking soda in it or something similar to a deodorizing pod. Then apply some special disinfecting spray to eliminate the bacteria.
3. Clean the dishwasher
No, it doesn’t clean itself. Food tends to stick and make a very SMELLY situation to the point where it’s disgusting! So, if you use it daily wash it every two weeks using a dishwasher cleaning tablet.
In addition, in case you didn’t do that already, rinse the dishes before putting them in the washer.
4. Do this with the microwave
We are preparing many dishes in the microwave making a hot box full of smells and eventually, everyone is going to feel that four course meal you cooked a few days ago.
So what can we do? Well, that’s easy, first boil some water with lemon juice and leave it for a couple of minutes in there and then wipe out all the food, grease and whatever it is inside the microwave.
